Business Plan Development
If you lack the resources, we are able to develop an entire business plan for you. This is a collaborative process; you have information about your business and we have resources to document it.
We first provide you with a business plan template, outlining the information to be included in the plan. We than interview you about your business and its future plans. We will discuss everything from market research, marketing plans, staff, and operations to projected revenues and expenses. We will inform you of shortfalls in the information and areas requiring further research.
We then generate the entire plan for you, including financial projections. If you are working with a lender that requires a particular format, we can adjust to that format.
Business Plan Direction
If you want to write the business plan, but do not know how to proceed, we can provide you with direction. We have materials, which will turn a seemingly daunting task, into something manageable. We will walk you through the process step by step until your business plan is complete.
Often in this case, the business owner is able to write the plan, but needs additional assistance developing financial statments. In this instance, our CPAs will develop financial projections based on the revenues and expenses you provide for your business.
Business Plan Review
It is always wise to have a business plan reviewed prior to submission to a bank or venture capitalist. Milani and Associates can provide that independent review of your business plan. We will recommend enhancements to the plan and suggest areas that may need additional research or analysis.
Financial Statements and Projections
Many business owners have the knowledge and ability to write a business plan, but are stumped when it comes to developing financial statements and projections. We will take your projected revenues and expenses and create financial statements that are in compliance with “Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.” We will also let you know what expenses are missing and if your revenue projections are realistic.
